About The Client
The Canadian Welding Bureau is a not-for-profit organization that provides training, certification, and public safety information for Canadian companies involved in welding. CWB has engaged IT Weapons for several consulting projects over the years, including upgrades for Microsoft Exchange, Network management, and full Virtual Desktop (VDI) deployments.
The Challenge
As a large organization that operates several different companies across Canada, CWB was looking for support in a variety of different areas, and wanted to partner with one vendor with expertise in multiple areas, instead of several separate providers. One issue CWB was experiencing was getting a smooth and reliable Wi-Fi signal throughout their main office.

The Solution
Through a complete wireless site survey, IT Weapons was able to create a visual representation of CWBs current wireless setup, and discovered several points of interference that were disrupting the wireless signal. IT Weapons deployed a new wireless system that greatly boosted Wi-Fi connectivity, and almost immediately, CWBs users began raving about the improved Wi-Fi experience.
